Short, plain, and only what is true.
This site collects almost nothing. There is no account, no cart, and no payment. Here is exactly what happens to the little it does collect.
What this website collects
The appointment form on the studio page does not submit to a server. It composes a message and opens WhatsApp on your own device; you decide whether to press send. Nothing is stored on this website, and we receive nothing until you send it.
If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically a name, a phone number, room dimensions, and photographs of your room.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a drawing and a quotation, and — if you order — to make, deliver and warrant your furniture. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell contact details, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders: up to twelve months, then deleted. Order records, drawings and invoices: retained for eight years, because tax and warranty law requires it.
Who we share it with
Our own team, and nobody else, except where it is unavoidable: the transport team that delivers your piece, and our accountant for invoicing. Fabric or foam suppliers receive specifications, never your contact details. We do not run advertising profiles of visitors.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies. If we later add analytics to understand which pages help people, it will be configured to measure page use without building a profile of you, and this page will be updated before that happens.
Your choices
Write to studio@handandgrain.in and ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will act within thirty days, and we will tell you if we cannot delete something and why — usually an invoice we are legally required to keep.
